Amazing frost edging the leaves of my rose bush.
This is the Rose I've featured in several of my previous I Heart Macro posts
that has valiantly tried to bloom as the weather has gotten colder and colder.
It was almost able to fully open the last couple of days
and then got quite a load of frost on it overnight
and I took what may be the last picture I'll be able to take of it.
Isn't it gorgeous!

These shots are so beautiful. Frost added such a lovely edging to your leaves. Its almost like diamonds. I cant believe how gorgeous that rose is. What a shame it has to die. Beautiful series of captures.

ReplyDeleteAmazing shots of the leaves and rose Kristi. It is a shame that the poor rose held on for so long, but the cold Jack Frost won in the end.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful Pictures, it looks like you hot-glue on crystals. Love them.
ReplyDeleteFantastic photos I am not sure which one I love the most, The leaf is so exciting they way it was etched in ice, but the rose looked it was velvet maybe even embossed velvet. Thank you for sharing them with us. nancy
ReplyDeleteI'm no fan of the cold, but these are really spectacular. I love the frosted edges of both the leaves and the flower petals. It's great that they didn't melt while you were capturing their beauty! Well done, very well done!
