BTW June 29 2011

This is a last minute BTW, I didn't want to post yet another picture of my PMC pieces getting ready for the kiln, cause that is most often what is on my bead table. But I was playing with these fired leaves and look what a pretty flower they make!! Both of these Ammonite textures are available in my Etsy Shop.

Yummy goodies!!

Thought it was a good time to share some of my most recent purchases. I had so much fun using the stone connectors for the Muffin Tin Challenge I went shopping for more. I ended up purchasing 2 sets from StoneStudiosToo I'm going to be doing the Edmonds Art Walk next month so I thought I'd better come up with some new unusual and colorful stuff to tempt the Art Walkers.

Here's what I got from StoneStudiosToo.

I think I can do alot with them AND I think they'll go well with these lovely beads I got from TwoSistersDesigns This is my first purchase from them and I'm excited to get them!

AmberScript, so pretty I can't wait to see them in person!

I also purchased and received some new lampies from BBGlassArt, they are gorgeous as always. I even made a special order pair of earrings with them, we've been most impatiently waiting for them to arrive so I could make them!

Black Leopard...grrrrrrr

I know you'd love to see more, but that's all I have for now!

Love My Art Jewelry: Spice Up Your Sunday...

I'm so excited to be featured on this blog!

Love My Art Jewelry: Spice Up Your Sunday...

I Heart Macro

I thought this might be an interesting Macro, relating to the work I do with Metal Clay. This is the tray lined with paper towel that I use when I'm filing and carving and cleaning up the green clay pieces getting them ready to be fired. The silver is done separately because there are other uses for it, but not really so much for Copper and Bronze.

These were taken with my 18-55mm lense and a 20mm extension tube.

A little Copper Curly Cue

Come join in the fun, see what other Macrolicious photos my friends have taken.

Did somebody say Muffin?!?!?

Well I'm gonna do it!! I'm joining the Muffin Tin Jewelry Challenge! I'm probably crazy for taking this on, but I have to finish the last couple Wedding Earrings so I thought I could include that in the muffin tin, and I've had a couple other earring designs in the back of my mind so I'm half way there already...right?

Who knew taking a photo of a muffin tin would be so tough!

Droplets

We actually got in the 70's 2 days in a row here in the beautiful Pacific NW, this morning not so much. It's lightly raining and I thought this might be an appropriate time for me to share some pictures I took a couple of weeks ago when it was raining more than lightly.

All of these photos were taken with a 18-55mm lense and a 20mm extention tube.

 Enjoy!

And I'm tickled pink I was able to upload the pics without any problems at all! Thank you Blogger.

BTW...Everybody Loves Ammonite!

This is the closest I've ever come to production mode. The Ammonite texture is by far the most popular component I've made so far and although I have done some different shapes for some reason Square is the one everybody goes for. I have always loved Ammonite and I think I love these square ones as much as everybody else. I have 4 pre-orders and I'm going to fire an entire batch of just Ammonite Squares so I have enough to satisfy everybody for a little while, that's the plan anyway.

Here's what's on my Bead Table, technically not beads but they are a perfect match to so many beads!!

Please go to the BTW Page on Flickr to see what everybody has going on today!

Time to Play!!

Hot Air Balloon

Last night my husband was in the hot tub and I was getting ready to join him, he yells at me come here and bring your camera!!!! So I rush to get my camera not having any idea what I'm going to see and fortunately I grabbed my other lens too cause I needed it. A hot air balloon had just about come directly over our house and was now coming out from behind some trees so I grabbed a couple of shots, changed to my longer lens and got a closer shot. There is a field near by where I've seen them land before so I assume that's where it was headed. It was going very slow and descending.

Girls barking at Hot Air Baloon!!! Such good girls!!

New Bronze

Some new some not so new but in new shapes and favorite shapes. The most popular by far, Ammonite Squares and also Ammonite in 2 new shapes, long rectangle and leaf shape. And lots more!

I'll be listing these in my Etsy Shop throughout the week, as always if there's something you want speak up and I'll reserve it for you.

This is all right out of the tumbler, I'll be taking the torch to it to give it some of it's beautiful colors.
