These are Skeletons of some kind of leaf, I've had this little treasure for several years, not sure what it is or where I got it any more. But it is oh so cool.
All but the last shot were taken with my 36mm extension tube, the last one I wanted to step back just a bit so you could see what the entire thing looked like, it's taken with a 22mm extension tube.

ReplyDeleteKristi, I am quite sure that this is the skeleton of a Japanese Lantern plant lantern. Does it come to a point at the bottom end? SOmetimes these can be found with a single seed that the flower produces rattling around inside!! Very Kewl!!
