Playing with my Light Box

Living in the Pacific NW and being sun challenged much of the year I figured I needed to break out my light box once again because sun breaks will be fewer and fewer as the days bring us in to fall and winter. I've never been all that happy with the photos I've been able to take in it but I'm playing with positioning the lights and which backgrounds work well, and where to put them within the box all that and I'm actually coming up with some that I am fairly happy with.

Here are a few examples of items soon to be listed in my Etsy Shop.

In all these photos I'm using one of my big

 old Wood Texture Blocks to prop them up and I'm loving that!!

I'll always choose photograghing in actual sunlight

 but I'm happy to have an alternative I can live with.

Silver Silver Silver

Got most of the new Silver pieces listed. Silver is so expensive I remember why I don't use it much any more and fortunately I love Copper.
But these pieces are gorgeous, for the most part what seem to be the favorite shapes and textures.

Silver Component Preview

It's raining and picture taking is challenging. I trodded on out to the greenhouse where I had my best shot at getting decent photos. Only one of the individual photos turned out and a decent group shot. Hope for a little bit more light when I get home from work tonight.

The one useable individual shot that turned out pretty good seems to be everybody's favorite, the Ammonite Square in Silver. I probably should have made more than one!

The goal is to list at least a couple of these tonight in my Etsy Shop. See something you have to have I can reserve it for you.
