Earring Challenge Reveal #19, Weeks 39 & 40/52

Time is definitely moving along swiftly these days. These last 2 weeks have been so busy I didn't get these earrings made until the last minute. One pair I made last night one I just made 10 minutes ago. But I really enjoy making earrings and taking part in this challenge so I made it happen....just barely!

Last night's creation are made with beads from Jen Camerona of Glass Addictions.
I really tried to show the beauty of these beads and I got close but not quite.

This morning I made earrings using amazing discs by Sue Kennedy of SueBeads. I've had a couple ideas brewing for these discs but when I pulled these little leaves out of my kiln this morning I knew the right pairing had finally presented itself.
Yes not only did I make the earrings this morning, the little leaves are fresh out of the kiln as well.
The leaves are molded from some Polymer Clay leaves I made recently.

I hope to get these listed today.
Don't miss the other creations of the past 2 weeks, the blog hop is at the end of this post.

Join us in 2 weeks for our next reveal.

Oh and I haven't named either pair, I always struggle with the naming part.
If anybody out there has a great name for either pair please share it, I'd love all the help I can get!

AJE Earrings Challenge Reveal 18 weeks 37-38

I'm playing catch up a little bit on this reveal.
I know I'm behind, no idea how much so I'll just keep plugging away,
if I make 52 that's cool if not that's ok too.

I have 5 pair to show you this time, I seemed to be really in to using fiber this time around because 3 of my earrings have fiber accents on them.

Lavandula
These Lavandula earrings start with amazing Lampies by Jen Cameron of Glass Addictions. I added a pair of my Polymer Clay Sea Urchin discs and a big of Fiber wrapped in copper.

Blue Jean Baby

These Blue Jean Baby earrings start with wonderful Glass Headpins by Diane of Sowzere then I stacked some Turquoise Sari Silk a colorful Greek Ceramic bead a glass bead and a pop or red with a little Czech glass bead like the cherry on top!

Burgundy and Brass
I made these Poppy drops in Burgundy start this next pair off, then I scrounged around my stash for the perfect rustic Brass bead and another touch of Sari Silk to finish these Burgundy and Brass Earrings.

Industrialized
Super cool Electroformed Lampwork beads by Leah of BeadsOfPassion sandwiched between some earthy Czech glass beads and Mesh Dangle in Copper that I made finish this very raw Industrialized pair of earrings.

Autumnal
Polymer Clay Headpins stacked with amazing HavanaBeads Lampries and topped with a pair of my Leafy Polymer Discs. Perfect for our coming in to the fall season.

All 5 pair are available in my Etsy shop.

Bead Soup Blog REVEAL

No more teasing, it's finally here!!!

I have an awesome Blog partner in Jennifer Cameron of GlassAddictions!
I also have well over 300 Bead Soup Partners playing along.

I'm just gonna reveal the 2 items I made with Jenny's Soup Ingredients

I'll start with the earrings and I have to say I am in love with the beads she made for me, I want more!!
Jenny, did you hear me, consider this my order for more of these amazing beads.
I paired them with some of my Copper Ammonite squares,
I love the way they turned out.

Now for the necklace, the earrings weren't a big stretch for me but the necklace was.
I tried to go a little crazy with the color and somewhat a symmetrical design, I hope it worked.

Be sure to check out all the other participants.

I'll have a Tab/Page at the top of my blog available whenever you visit my blog.
Take your time, there are alot of wonderful reveals to get through,
take your time savor the soup over the next few weeks.

Thank you for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed my Soup!

Bead Soup Partner and Teaser

Why oh why do I stress so much about what to send my partner. I've been trying to put together the soup for a couple of days, I make myself crazy!!

But enough of that, here is my lovely partner Jenny Cameron
of Glass Addictions and here is her Etsy shop.

I'm looking forward to seeing what goodies she sends to me, until then here is what I'm sending to her. Of course I have to keep it a surprise so I did all kinds of strangeness to the photo short of putting fake nose and glasses on them.

Sending them out tomorrow!!
