Why oh why do I stress so much about what to send my partner. I've been trying to put together the soup for a couple of days, I make myself crazy!!
But enough of that, here is my lovely partner Jenny Cameron
of Glass Addictions and here is her Etsy shop.
I'm looking forward to seeing what goodies she sends to me, until then here is what I'm sending to her. Of course I have to keep it a surprise so I did all kinds of strangeness to the photo short of putting fake nose and glasses on them.
Sending them out tomorrow!!
Kristi
I love the color combination of pink, orange, purple. It is so happy. Your copper work is exquisite. Ho do you like artfire? How does it compare with etsy? I'm Andrea Trank, Heaven Lane Creations. I do have a small etsy shop, but I can't decide how to proceed. All of my work is featured on a friend's website. Check it out www.christinescottartfuliving.com and I am loving blogging, which I started to do this summer. My blog address is http://heavenlanecreations.wordpress.com
ReplyDeleteHa!!! Love it!!
ReplyDeleteYep, I totally know that stress. My partner should get hers tomorrow. Crossing my fingers she'll like what I sent. Whew, I think this part is harder than the designing part!
ReplyDeleteYep, me too. I got so stressed by the time I got the beads out to my partner that I wanted to call her and apologize! So I volunteered to do a second swap and it went much more smoothly! Now I have to really make some jewelry!
ReplyDeleteI was stressed out too, but my partner got her soup and said she loved it! i am excited to be participating this time after watching all the fun the past few times. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteYour jewelry is always so lovely Kristi..I know your partner will love your thoughtfully considerd choices. Don't stress!

Looks delicious:-)
ReplyDeleteThis is my first bead soup and i'm stressing too! I found myself almost to panic stage the other day going " why did i decide to do this?" and then things started to fall together so i feel a little better now. you comment about the fake nose and glasses made me laugh, thanks for that comic relief!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lot of worriers we are!! I guess it's just the idea of disappointing someone but I'm sure after all the effort everyone will be just fine and it will be a great show. Love your vibrant colours Kristi - brings to mind an asian wedding I went to - gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI can HARDLY WAIT!!!!! Your soup should be going out today too as long as I can get the beads cleaned, photo'd, and packaged in time :o)
ReplyDelete**slurp** ooopppsss hope no one heard me slurp the screen because that color palette is so luscious!! Can't wait to see what the actual bead soup looks like! I hear ya on the stressin' - my stressin' lead to procrastination I just sent my soup out last Saturday. I'll be back to see what you cook up! I'm sure it'll be scrumptious!
ReplyDeleteBeadfully yours ;-)
Cindy
Thanks for hoping over to visit my blog, and leaving a nice comment! Your bead soup looks delicious! The photo would easily pass as an abstract painting by a famous renaissance artist:-)
