We're All Ears :: September Reveal

I absolutely adore this months Inspiration!!!
I love Macro photography and I love Lichen and Moss!!

Erin took some amazing pictures and here are the earrings I made!
I let time get away from me and didn't really do what I wanted but I'm happy with them.

I made the copper pieces and actually had quite a few beads/stones that would work well but I chose these cool Rainforest Agate beads to finish them off!

October Component of the Month Reveal

Time for the October Component of the Month REVEAL!!!
I'm so excited to have provided this cool Ammonite Component to everybody to make their creations!!

Here's what I made with mine!

I purposely chose the piece with the big crack in it,
I love it and think it adds to the personality of the texture.

Add caption
I braided Sari Silk over heavy copper wire for the frame of the sides and used one of my rings for a sort of hook and eye closure.
I'm still toying with the idea of adding some little dangling baubles to this piece.

We've got an amazing group of talented artisans playing along this month, please take a look and I know they would love to hear what you think of their creations!

AJE February Component of the Month REVEAL

AJE's own Francesca Watson made beautiful Enameled Focals for the month of February!

I paired Francesca's beautiful pinky mauve focal with one of my Paisley Copper rings, and nested the pendant between a couple of snakeskin end caps.
Lovely and rustic pink Rhodochrosite roundelles, and neutral glass beads round off the piece.

I just love all the personality in this beautiful focal!

I was even lucky enough to have some adorable little Rhodochrosite pair to make matching earrings.

Please take a moment to enjoy all the other creations using Francesca's beautiful focal!!

There's still time to enter for our next Challenge!

AJE January Component of the Month REVEAL

On the Art Jewelry Elements Blog for the Month of January we all had a wonderful Pie Bead from Karen Totten of Starry Road.
I chose this wonderful Burnt Red color and knew I wanted some how to include turquoise color with it.

Indian Summer

My first idea was for it to be a necklace but I couldn't get it to work the way I wanted so I went to plan B and Plan C and finally got to this.

I really love it, Karen's wonderful Bead paired with a pair of my Copper Components and a splash of bright Turquoise Sari Silk.
I also recently got a Wire Coiling Gizmo and went to town with that, it's so much fun and addicting!
I used some Artistic Bronze wire and combined it with copper, I love mixing metals.

There are 12 participants in this reveal,
Hop along and take a look at their creations!

Big Hole Blog Hop Teaser

Only 1 week from today,
but it seems like I've been waiting forever for the
 Big Hole Blog Hop Reveal!
Saturday, June 30th is the day.

Here are all of the participants for this hop,
many of them are having sneak peeks or teasers so check them out!!!

Unfortunately once again I may not be able to participate in my own hop.
I jammed my thumb a few weeks ago and although it is better, building jewelry is tough.
I've managed to make a few pair of earrings to fulfill some obligations
but using this big component might be more than my thumb can handle.
I hope I surprise us all and come up with a creation!
