I Heart Macro a Study of Poppies

Well mostly Poppies, I couldn't resist clicking some of the other beauties in my yard. Can you tell I'm enjoying my new extension tubes, these were all taken with my 15-55mm lense with the 20mm extension tube.






Gorgeous Petunia in one of my 8 baskets I have hanging around the house.

    Wonderful shots! My favorite is the poppy. Glad you are having good luck with your tubes....I broke my macro so am looking for a replacement...

    I LOVE poppies, one of my favourite flowers ;o) but I have a really hard time getting them to grow in my garden! :o(

    I am amazed how stunning flowers are taken up close, SOOO much detail {and vibrancy} about them.

    They are all beautiful shots, but my favourite is the third one down, of the poppy. The petals are pure silk, I can tell!!

    Gorgeous shots! The first shot looks like something from an alien world, sweet! I also love the petal shots, they look so paper tissue thin! Awesome!

    The color of the petunia is stunning and the third one down looks so soft and silky! It makes me think of little hands reaching up. Gorgeous shots!

    Beautiful shots -- isn't it amazing what details come out when you go macro? The second poppy shot is my favorite; the stamens (?) seem so heavy with pollen! Wonderful.
