Hummingbird - World Bird Wednesday

After what seemed a very long absence I have almost constant Hummer action at my 2 feeders.
I believe this is a Rufous.

Waiting in the trees between feedings!

I hope you enjoyed my Hummingbird visitor/s!

  2. Nice captures, especially the one where he's looking up! Our hummingbirds are back, too, but the Rufous don't show up till early July, which lets the others get settled. I love our little visitors -- thanks for sharing these!

  24. These are fantastic shots, Kristi! They look like they came from National Geographic!!!!The closest I ever seem to get to a hummingbird is when IT buzzes right by my ear, and I am too slow to "catch" a shot! Beautiful pics!!
