I Heart Macro - Camelia

I love the sun and shadows on this one.

At this point there are only 1 or 2 flowers open on this big bush.

Often they will not only have the white in the center

but splashes throughout the rest of the leaves.

I'm sure I'll share the Camelia again as it fills with forgeous blooms!

Bead Cruise 2013

One of these days I'm going to go on this Bead Cruise!!

But until then

 I'm very happy that one of my Copper Components is being used in one of the classes!!

Beverly Herman is teaching this wonderful Queen Wanna Bead class using my Ammonite Cabochons!

Blue Heron - WBW

Another first for me, picture of Blue Heron's at one of our local Rookeries!

The rookery is in a large open space next to a park and ride.

When we first got there they were flying left and right over us in the parking lot,

I couldn't contain my excitement and I think my squeeling and screeching scared them away.

They started mostly flying to the outside of the treeline so if was tough to get pictures.

This was one of my first shots,

 they just walk around on top of the branches and collect sticks to take back to the next.

Very tough to get good pictures when you're jumping up and down.

I'm very happy I got a few decent ones.

You can bet I'll be going back.

Probably every weekend while they are nesting!

I'll contain my excitement and hopefully get some even better shots.

I Heart Macro

This is the tulip I used in macro a few weeks ago when it was just starting to open.

Now they open every day and close at night, they've been going for several weeks!

Here they are all in a little group!

Rhodie bud just about to pop!! I can't wait!

The one Rhododendron that is almost fully open in the entire yard!

And of course the girls were out with me taking pictures

 and I always have to take pictures of them too, gorgeous Ginger above!

I did not buy this Sari Silk or these Lampwork beads (by BeadAddicts) with the intention of putting them together but as soon as I saw them near each other on my table I knew what I wanted to do!

Maybe I should have saved these for the Earrings Everyday blog but I could not wait to share them.

I'm really digging Sari Silk lately and I love stacking beads one on top of another in some way and I also don't often make earrings without using some of my components,

but I think these are perfect just as they are!
