Wild Bird Wednesday

It's always a good week when I have new birds to share on Wild Bird Wednesday.

Here's a Hummingbird at the Honeysuckle, not sure if it's a Rufous or Anna's.

More pictures from Brightwater Treatment Plant
A great little area for me because it's so close to my house and I drive by it often.

Barn Swallow...what a face!

  2. WOW, what great pics, especially of the hummingbird on a branch I have never seen one land anywhere! I did watch one on my Columbine for a few minutes this week, a real treat as I rarely catch sight of one here.

  3. What a cute close up of the barn swallow! And your hummingbirds look quite different from ours here in Arkansas. Great shots!

  9. The close up of the barn swallow reminds me of the popular "mad robin" picture from a few years ago. Great photos. Thanks for sharing them with us.

  12. That is a lovely honeysuckle and the little humming birds compliment it so well. I particularly like the scruffier young'ns.

  14. Hummers in the back yard is a real dream! Although I suppose people may like to have the parrots that visit mine!

    Very nice pictures.
