BTW August 10 11

This is the piece I was working on for the Inspired by Lillies challenge but once again I didn't get it finished in time, heck it still isn't finished. But I love what I did so far and I will finish it.
Just too much going on right now YIKES!!!

It's got 2 Copper 3 hole connectors I made with a very pretty and subtle lilly design on them, a wonderful variety of orange beads, lampwork, fire agate, jade plus wonderful bronze and gold colors from Czech Glass Beads. I plan on making my own copper connectors and probably using some kind of cording or silk to finish it.

Forest Floor Challenge

This is my entry in Humblebeads Forest Floor Challenge. The forest is full of wildlife including snakes so I've used my Copper Snakeskin Components paired with fantastic Lampwork beads by BeadAbundant. I think the beautiful earthiness of these earrings fit the challenge.

Bead Table Wednesday

After yesterday's blog post showcasing long earrings, this morning I'm working on some that are quite short. They are also relatively simple but I think they are also going to be beautiful. I hope to finish them before I leave for work this morning.

Not a very good photo I know. Super simple, only one project. I'm using some of my copper components, wonderful recycled beach glass beads, little copper bits from Rings & Things that I've dapped to use as caps on the top, I'll also heat them to darken them a big and patinated copper wire.

Check out all the other wonderful creative people and see what's on their Bead Table today.

I finished the earrings, had to add them to this post and share them with you all! They didn't end up being short at all, just a smidge over 2". They actually didn't turn out exactly like I had planned but I love them just the same!!
