The weeks are just flying by!!

Time for another Art Jewelry Elements Earring Challenge Reveal!

My first pair are Copper Drops made using Burlap as the texture and lots of Czech Glass beads dangling from the bottom!

My second pair I call Garden Party, they start with Poymer Clay Barrels with vines and leaves as their texture and cute little Flower Charms with Sea Urchin texture danging from them.

I Heart Macro - Lavender....mostly

But lots of other flowers too, we're heading in to the time of year where taking pictures of flowers will no longer be an option.
 So I figured I'd get my fill now, plus I bought a few new plants so I had to take pics of those first thing!

I missed I Heart Macro last week so I'm happy to be participating again.



This is a new variety of Lavender I got to go in my Lavender garden. I'm trying to get lots of different sizes and colors in one spot. Looks good so far, hope they all survive the winter!

I Heart Macro Hydrangea

When we moved in to this house about 2 years ago I thought this Hydrangea was a gonner, it just looked like a bunch of dead sticks coming out of the ground. But I started trimming it and could see there was still life there so tended to it and tried to bring it back to life. Then when I saw these incredible blooms I was hooked, and this year it actually has alot of leaves as well and you can hardly see the branches. Even though my hubby (not a gardener by any stretch) kept telling me to just cut it down, I don't give up on plants easily and in many cases I am happily rewarded.

I Heart Macro a Study of Poppies

Well mostly Poppies, I couldn't resist clicking some of the other beauties in my yard. Can you tell I'm enjoying my new extension tubes, these were all taken with my 15-55mm lense with the 20mm extension tube.
