I Heart Macro Frosty

Freezing the whole day today, caught what's left of a spider web covered with frost.

And frost covering the top of our yard waste container, so pretty!

I Heart Macro

My favorite Gladiola, is it stunning or what!
It was here when we moved in 3 years ago and I look forward to seeing it every year.
I'm considering planting more varieties of Glads, they have always been a favorite of mine!

Soft and stunning Hydrangea, just got watered so there's lots of droplets left on it which is always gorgeous!

I Heart Macro - Japanese Anemone

Last year I had some "landscapers" come and weed my garden as I had been having some health issues prior to this and didn't keep up with my weeding.
They pulled my Japanese Anemone and I was crushed,
I searched every nursery in my area and couldn't find any more.
FORTUNATELY
they hadn't done a really good job pulling it out because after a few months it began to grow again,
a year later I'm getting my first blooms!!!

Hydrangea

Hydrangea
I love the Hydrangea above, it almost looks like fireworks,
small sizzling fireworks in the center and big booming fireworks coming out from them!

Take a look at the other

I Heart Macro - Poppy Kiss

I love I heart macro and I missed last week and almost missed this week, I can't believe that!!

Love this funny little face the poppy seed pod is making,
can you say Little Shop of Horrors lol!
I've never seen one that wasn't perfectly rouhD1

Gorgeous Penstemon, I love this color!!

And beautiful Foxglove,

Love my Lavender!!
There's a color them going on here I only noticed when I started loading photos.
Totally unintentional but I like it!

A different kind of Lavender,
every time I see a variety I don't have I snatch it up.

Amazingly gorgeous Hosta bloom,
it was really foggy this morning and being in the shade
it still has lovely droplets of water on it!

Another Hosta flower

Yummy Rose!

Gorgeous Fuschia!!

And just as I was finishing up this post I saw this lovely flitting around at my flower baskets,
so I went outside and chased him around for a few minutes until I got a decent photo.

I Heart Macro, more Flowers

I'm starting this post off with a poppy again this week,
the first photo is a Poppu just starting to Pop!
They are so paper-like they fascinate me!

This one I'm looking directly in to it,
I was so excited the center turned out so nice and clear with those beautiful two tone petals surrounding it.

 Love Callalillies!

And some mushrooms growing in the lawn,
it's been mighty wet the last few weeks,
they are in perfect harmony with the moisture.

Now for a series of White Clematis, this bush is chock full of stunning flowers and they refused to take a bad picture. Every single photo I took was beautiful so here they ALL are, virtually no editing!

This bee was very cooperative, much more so than the ones I tried to photogragh last week.
Thanks you little bee!

I love this last one, they look like they are floating!

Lastly, a Peony bud, I think by next week that bush will be full of flowers.

I Heart Macro - Camelia

I love the sun and shadows on this one.
At this point there are only 1 or 2 flowers open on this big bush.
Often they will not only have the white in the center
but splashes throughout the rest of the leaves.
I'm sure I'll share the Camelia again as it fills with forgeous blooms!

A stunning Camelia in my mom's yard!

I Heart Macro

This is the tulip I used in macro a few weeks ago when it was just starting to open.
Now they open every day and close at night, they've been going for several weeks!

Here they are all in a little group!

Rhodie bud just about to pop!! I can't wait!

The one Rhododendron that is almost fully open in the entire yard!

And of course the girls were out with me taking pictures
and I always have to take pictures of them too, gorgeous Ginger above!

Adorable little Shasta!

And another of Ginger!
