Art Bead Scene December Challenge

Here is my entry in to the December Challenge at the Art Bead Scene Blog.

As soon as I saw the inspiration I knew I wanted to use this Dragon Fly pendant. This was a hand me down piece in a bag of destash I purchased a few years ago and he came to me with this gorgeous green patina. I considered Enameling him but couldn't bring myself to touch his naturalness.

The accompanying necklace has lampwork by Kelley's Beads, lovely faceted orange Carnelian Nuggets, green Freshwater Pearls, fun wood rectangles, antique brass chain and a handmade Copper clasp.

  2. Kristi, this is a gorgeous necklace! I love that dragonfly pendant. I'm also jealous that you've been able to do the December challenge already ;)

  3. What a great design! I wouldn't have changed that dragonfly either. Just buffed him up with some Renaissance Wax to preserve that gorgeous color!
    Enjoy the day!
