Flowers and more Flowers

It's been a busy "day off".
This is the batch of copper I have ready to put in the kiln,
almost all of it is new, several new flower shapes and textures and some new leaves!

My handy hubby made these boxes for me to keep my earrings in.
Typically I keep them on the shutters I use as displays at shows,
but using them at home they takes up so much space,
I've been searching for some vintage boxes but couldn't seem to find anything that fit my needs.
They are perfect, well almost, I need to antique them somehow so they are not so pretty and new.

  5. Can't wait to see the new pieces when they come out of the kiln. They are neat looking now, but I love the rainbow effect your copper pieces have. Your husband is so sweet to make the earring boxes for you.

  6. I love your new copper pieces and the way you arranged them on the book is so pretty. I'm jealous of your boxes--can I commission your hubs? I keep looking for boxes for my earrings and nothing is really the right size. Lucky you!

BTW, I just made a new pair of earrings with your copper components!
