I'm at 41 for the year, gonna have to get busy to finish all 52
 for the 52 Pairs of Earrings A Year group on Flickr.

 I made these 4 pair of earrings today and I'm sort of on a roll so may be more to come.

This weeks new Copper

Let me just start by saying I LOVE these new pieces,

I'll try to only say it this one time and not when I talk about each piece.

It's so much fun to always be thinking of new things to make,

 new shapes new textures,

 tweeking something old so it's different and fresh!!

These Owls fit in the NEW category,

you know how I feel about them so I won't say the L word again.

Not a new Shape or Texture but this time I put Ammonite in Leaf Shapes

This is one of the first textures I made and I'm happy you all seem to like it as much as I do!

One of my lovely customers suggested using the Tribal Texture in this shape and I think it's amazing!

It's still pretty early in the morning and I wasn't sure the early dawn filtered sun would give me anything I could use but after lightening them a little I can't complain.

I'll take more pictures later and get some of these listed over the weekend.

Copper House and More BTW

I love this house, I'm looking forward to seeing it fired!

All these pieces I'm sharing today have yet to be cleaned up so don't mind the rough edges.

I Heart Macro - Frost

Amazing frost edging the leaves of my rose bush.

This is the Rose I've featured in several of my previous I Heart Macro posts

 that has valiantly tried to bloom as the weather has gotten colder and colder.

 It was almost able to fully open the last couple of days

 and then got quite a load of frost on it overnight

 and I took what may be the last picture I'll be able to take of it.

Isn't it gorgeous!

Flowers and more Flowers

It's been a busy "day off".

This is the batch of copper I have ready to put in the kiln,

almost all of it is new, several new flower shapes and textures and some new leaves!

My handy hubby made these boxes for me to keep my earrings in.

Typically I keep them on the shutters I use as displays at shows,

 but using them at home they takes up so much space,

I've been searching for some vintage boxes but couldn't seem to find anything that fit my needs.

They are perfect, well almost, I need to antique them somehow so they are not so pretty and new.

Big News

At least I think it's big news, kind of scary and very exciting. Today is the first day of my new 4 day work week. My regular extra day off will be Monday, I hope it's going to free up alot of creative time for me as well as time to take better care of myself and do things I never have time to do any more. I've got to work even harder to make sure I provide lots of wonderful goodies that people like so I can make it work. After nearly 12 years in this job, 40 hours a week, it feels like a big step to cut my hours even by 1 day.

So today, I hope to list lots of goodies I've had stacked up over the last couple of weeks. Plus the batch I fired last night. My first listing on my brand new day off are these lovely leaves, I've had them made for quite some time and decided this was a good time to share them!
