52 pair of Earrings a Year

http://www.etsy.com/listing/90618427/copper-urchin-discs-and-lampwork-glass

I recently joined the 52 Earrings a Year group on Flickr.
These earrings were my most recent contribution.
I love how these discs turned out and I'm making more in this and other textures.
Got some Mehndi, Paisley and Ammonite as well as other Urchin textures.
So many possible ways to create with them.

  1. Beautiful earrings! I love the color on the discs, and yes, those lampwork beads are gorgeous. I can't wait to see the other 51 pairs!

When I saw the title of your post the song '99 bottles of beer on the wall' came to mind, and is now stuck in my head....

    Have a great week!

  2. You always make such beautiful earrings. I really love the fire oxidized colors that you get on your copper. I really like a verdigris finish on copper but I like the fire oxidization much better. Keep up the good work.

  3. Beautiful Kristi! I love how the metallic patina on the copper mimics the metallic colors in the lampwork!
I'm thinking I might join this group if I still can. I love doing earrings!

  4. Your earrings for this week are beautiful! The pairing between the colors in the lampworked beads and your copper work magnificently!

And I have to say that fifty two pairs of earrings in 52 weeks seems a much more reasonable goal than what I've been trying (and failing) to do - a pair a day for the 31 days of January. I've had about a 2/3rds success rate. Tempted to switch challenges mid-stream!
