I think I pushed the boundaries of he Pantone colors with these earrings but I think they just make it!

We're All Ears :: December Reveal

As I'm trying to organize my stash I came across these beautiful Lampwork Bell/Flowers from Beadfairy's Lampwork and decided to make some earrings for this challenge.

In the earrings above I also included some beautiful Boro Discs by Silverfish Designs.

I love them both, would really have a difficult time choosing a favorite.

I used Recycled Glass and Czech Glass beads with these wonderful Turquoise and Chocolate Bells.

We're All Ears :: October Reveal

I love Project Runway, in fact I just finished watching last nights episode!!

So I really wanted to participate in this one!

I call these

"A Study in Darkness"

All the looks and the models are long and lean so I wanted to create something similar.

They are all dark as well and these earrings are definitely dark but lots of irridescent colors which go well with the subtle purple and bergundy of all the looks.

We're All Ears Challenge Reveal

So I consider these earrings to be somewhat Serendipitous because I got a special order for these components. While I'm in the process of making them I take a look at the We're All Ears Reveal today and I thought...the shape and texture of these earrings actually mirrors the challenge picture in some ways so off I went!

I had a short piece of Sari Silk that had beautiful muted colors in Autumn shades that reminded me of the colors of the Canyon.

So I wrapped the Silk around the top of the components and decided a tiny bit of sparkle would be a good addition so I roughly added the seed beads in the same colors around the silk.

I think I'll call these earrings Serendipity!

I'm very happy with the results and I think I'm going to try to make more with different colors!!!

We're All Ears :: June Reveal

Ombre Sea Urchin

These are the Earrings I created for the Earring Everyday We're All Ears Challenge.

Some of my favorite Sea Urchin Beads by StoneDesignsbySheila, I have quite a few in my stash and they are absolutely amazing. I added some Copper Sea Urchin with Pink and Purple Ombre and Little Sea Urchin Bead caps topped with Czech Glass Beads.

We're All Ears Challenge Reveal

I'm so happy to participate in the challenge this time, I try every time but it doesn't often work out.

I'm calling these Hemisphere.

All the compartments on the ceramic beads by Golem and on the copper pieces put me in mind of the inspiration images.

This is actually a design I use quite often but this time I decided to add the little dangles at the bottom and I love mixing metals so I chose little Silver beads.
