You gotta check out the Fiber Wire created by the daughter of one of our AJE Team Members Karen Totten. I've had my eye on it for awhile and after seeing what Lorelei created with it I think I have to have some. Go to the AJE Blog and get the rest of the story.

Wild Bird Wednesday - Evening Grosbeak
This week was a very lucky week for me!
2 new lifers!!!
The above picture is my first sighting,
major happy dance for me.
Turns out it was a mom and a baby, I saw her feeding him a little later.
A lovely male, older juvenile I would guess?
Pretty little female.
And the baby, the feathers on the top of his head are so poofed up, a cute little pompadore!
At one point later in the day I counted 5 of these new visitors,
hopefully they'll keep coming cause there is always food at the table here.
I've also had both Evening and Black Headed Grosbeak at my feeder which I guess is a little unusual.
My second new bird this week,
A Eurasian Collared Dove.
I also had this surprise visitor, only the second time I've seen them come through out yard.
He came down our driveway went right by the feeders and jumped over in to the neighboring yard.

I Heart Macro - Opportunist
All of these plants I think came from what the squirrels buried when they feed on my bird feeders.
This is the silk on an ear of corn, looks like a nice head of hair doesn't it,
I have always loved the silk on corn!
There are 3 ears on this plant maybe I'll have to plant it on purpose next year.
This is the stalk of a corn, didn't know it was hairy too!
And of course a beautiful Sunflower, this one is very small, maybe 4-5 inches.
I hope you enjoyed my Opportunistic photos today!

This weeks new Copper
Let me just start by saying I LOVE these new pieces,
I'll try to only say it this one time and not when I talk about each piece.
It's so much fun to always be thinking of new things to make,
new shapes new textures,
tweeking something old so it's different and fresh!!
These Owls fit in the NEW category,
you know how I feel about them so I won't say the L word again.
Not a new Shape or Texture but this time I put Ammonite in Leaf Shapes
Fabulous!!
Again a shape and texture you've seen before but I put them together.
Large Ammonite Button
Another shot of the Ammonite Leaves.
Tribal Texture in Large Button!!!
This is one of the first textures I made and I'm happy you all seem to like it as much as I do!
A grouping of the Big Buttons,
Ammonite and Tribal.
One of my lovely customers suggested using the Tribal Texture in this shape and I think it's amazing!
It's still pretty early in the morning and I wasn't sure the early dawn filtered sun would give me anything I could use but after lightening them a little I can't complain.
I'll take more pictures later and get some of these listed over the weekend.
As usual if you want something let me know and I'll reserve it just for you!
I had to stop myself so many times from using the L word,
I did good!!
