AJE Earrings Challenge Reveal 18 weeks 37-38

I'm playing catch up a little bit on this reveal.
I know I'm behind, no idea how much so I'll just keep plugging away,
if I make 52 that's cool if not that's ok too.

I have 5 pair to show you this time, I seemed to be really in to using fiber this time around because 3 of my earrings have fiber accents on them.

Lavandula
These Lavandula earrings start with amazing Lampies by Jen Cameron of Glass Addictions. I added a pair of my Polymer Clay Sea Urchin discs and a big of Fiber wrapped in copper.

Blue Jean Baby

These Blue Jean Baby earrings start with wonderful Glass Headpins by Diane of Sowzere then I stacked some Turquoise Sari Silk a colorful Greek Ceramic bead a glass bead and a pop or red with a little Czech glass bead like the cherry on top!

Burgundy and Brass
I made these Poppy drops in Burgundy start this next pair off, then I scrounged around my stash for the perfect rustic Brass bead and another touch of Sari Silk to finish these Burgundy and Brass Earrings.

Industrialized
Super cool Electroformed Lampwork beads by Leah of BeadsOfPassion sandwiched between some earthy Czech glass beads and Mesh Dangle in Copper that I made finish this very raw Industrialized pair of earrings.

Autumnal
Polymer Clay Headpins stacked with amazing HavanaBeads Lampries and topped with a pair of my Leafy Polymer Discs. Perfect for our coming in to the fall season.

All 5 pair are available in my Etsy shop.

There's still time to enter the October Component of the Month Giveaway!
Go HERE and leave a comment.

Check out all the other entries in this weeks reveal below and come back in 2 weeks for the next reveal.

Playing with Purple

I know being St Patricks day the color O the day should be green
but I've been mixing some of my alcohol inks for more than just straight primary colors
 I've used so far.
Don't get me wrong I am happy with how the bright bold saturated colors but feel the need to experiment further.
Purple is one of my favorite colors so I mixed it with a little white to get lovely Lavender.

Flower Headpins in Lavender and Purple.

Ammonite Headpins in Purple

Bullets, one pair of Tribal Texture in Lavender
and a pair of Ammonite and Snakeskin in Natural or Faux Bone.

One thing I've been wondering lately, how do you display headpins at a show.
I have one coming up in just over a month and I have no idea how I'm going to do it.
I've thought about putting them by pair in individual bags and then upright in a box so they can be picked through but I think I want to find a way so they can be seen without having to work at it.
Anybody have an idea, have experience with this, I'd love to hear it!

Looks good in Copper looks good in Polymer Clay!

More I ♥ Headpins

Yesterday I revealed a bunch of new headpins HERE,
and I made even more new ones that I'm sharing today!
I'm obsessed with Headpins I guess, I've got more ideas swimming around in my brain.
This is the mess that comes out of the kiln and tumbler.
They have to be bent to fit in the kiln and then the tumbler really twists them around.

Here's is a sampling of all the ones in this batch.
No Liver of Sulfur or Torching, natural copper. Haven't decided if I'll leave them this way or not.

Starfish with Shell on the reverse side, the first pair is what the back of the Starfish looks like.
The Starfish Headpins are listed HERE

2 different ammonite,
the pair in the center with the Starburst is what all the reverse of the Ammonite look like.
