While at a show on Saturday I had lots of time to create!
I made these Turquoise and Coral Earrings among others.

And today I made these!!
Not Turquoise and Red, completely opposite!

All listed in my Etsy Shop.
I'm putting together an Indimade shop so watch for it in the near future!

The show venue was absolutely gorgeous! This was the view from my pop up.

During the day I wandered over to this lovely area and was lucky enough to spot this Cedar Waxwing, only the second time I've seen one and I was able to get a much better picture of this one!

AJE Earring Challenge Reveal 22 Weeks 45-46/52

It's the Art Jewelry Elements Earring Challenge reveal again!!
Only a few more left before the end of the year.
I've been busy, I know I won't catch up I don't even know how close I am to making a total of 52 pair this year but I think I'm close.

Fuschia Fantasy
These start out with gorgeous Headpins from SueBeads, stacked with Freshwater Pearls and a Czech Glass bead on top. Wrapped a little brightly colored Sari Silk roughly with copper to finish them off.

Tribal X

Some Copper drops and Bone Beads all with X's on them topped with a little Turquoise Square.

Mystic Wand
Copper Feathers snugged up to wonderful Ceramic/Porcelain tubes from O'Sullivan and heavily wrapped with Copper Wire. A bright Turquoise Square on top!

Fuscia Disc

Another set of amazing Lampwork Headpins from SueBeads dangling from one of my brightly colored Polymer Clay discs again roughly wrapped in Sari Silk and Copper Wire.

Stalactite
Incredible Headpins from Lori Lochner. They are such statement pieces on their own I wanted to do something fairly simple to enhance. I've been using Sari Silk in so many of my designs lately and it worked out perfectly for these Stalactite Earrings!

Lollipop earrings using Glass Headpins from Numinosity, I made a ring on top and wrapped it with Sari Silk and lots of Copper wire.

All of these earrings are availabe in either my Etsy or Artfire shops.
And don't miss the linky tool, please check out what the other Artisans created this time.

Organizing

http://www.artfire.com/ext/shop/product_view/4206096

During this Christmas break I've been doing a little organizing.
I moved things around a bit in my studio so hopefully I'll be a little more efficient. We shall see!
While organizing I've been picking and choosing and putting together earrings mostly and one bracelet.

Above are some beautiful lime green glass tubes and micro faceted agate in shades of green and purple.
This has always been a favorite color combination so I pulled the purple out by creating violet enamel headpins and used some really pretty matte Czech Glass beads at the top.

http://www.artfire.com/ext/shop/product_view/4200887

These Ryolite ovals have always been a favorite and when I recently received these lovely brown faceted Chalcedony briolettes I knew they were a great match to pull the little bit of rust color out of the Ryolite.

Paisley Copper Rings and Puple Crazy Lace Agate.
Every once in awhile the copper goes purple which is one of my favorite colors.
Perfect for Purple Crazy Lace Agate.

Above are my Ammonite Rectangles with gorgeous blue green Opal briolettes.

http://www.etsy.com/listing/89148718/handmade-chrysoprase-and-lampwork

How about the earrings above with incredible Lampwork Beads by Outwest paired with some Chrysoprase I have that are virtually all brown. I love this combination.

The Purple beauties above sold when I shared them on Facebook.
Sparkly Glass beads with more beautiful Lampwork from Outwest,
topped with Copper beadcaps.

I'm fairly sure I'll be keeping these Lampwork and Turquoise beauties for myself.
I rarely keep anything I make but I love these and may make an exception.
You may recognize more Lampwork by Outwest, this time with Sleeping Beauty Turquoise in Marquise shape and Acorn bead caps by Vintaj.

And last but not least this lovely bracelet.
I've seen this style numerous times by other artists and I always loved it.
I put my own twist in by roughly wrapping the copper around the heavy copper base inside,
rather than making smooth lovely wraps.
I liked it very much and it was bought once again when I posted it on Facebook.
Large Lampwork beads by TwoSisters, smaller purple spacers by Radiant Mind.

BTW Bronze Ammonite and Moonstone Pendant

I totally lost track of what day it was!!  I was reading one of my favorite blogs this morning and it said BTW I was shocked, I didn't realize it was Wednesday. So I'm home from work and took a pic of what's been on my bead table (other tham PMC components) for a little while. I actually was waiting to find some wonderful Moonstones (which just arrived yesterday) to combine with the White Turquoise nuggets I already had and string this awesome Bronze Ammonite and Moonstone pendant. I think I've finally got what I've been wanting and hope to get a chance to put it together soon.

You can also see in the background some wonderful Clay Beads
I just received from ChelleV2, they are fantastic!!

Check out the other creative people and see what's on their Bead Table

Bead Table Wednesday

It's shocking I know, but I'm going to share some of my Copper Work in Progress, I've always got copper going at some stage so it only makes sense to share it. But don't miss my newest stone beads at the end.

As usual re-stocking the shop, some special and pre-orders and a few new. This time I have some larger Sea Urchins in somewhat of a free form shape and a Large Ammonite piece that I envision as a bracelet but it could easily be a pendant with a place to put a fun dangle. I have lots and lots of cleaning and filing to do to it all but I'm shooting for a possible Thursday night firing.

I love taking pictures of beads, so much fun!

From the center there is Natural Golden Coral Rounds, then Barrel shape Mexican Turquoise, a strand of yummy Red Bamboo Coral, Howlite Heishi and last but not least beautiful Green Yellow Howlite.
These beads were purchased from ExcellentGem, very happy with what I received and they were nice and cooperative sellers. I added the Green Yellow Howlite in at the last moment before shipping.

Check out the other BEAD TABLE WEDNESDAY participants on Flickr.

Art Bead Scene March Challenge

This necklace has been quite the challenge. I just love it but I have struggled all month to get a photo I am truly happy. Today I got the best photos so far even though I'm still not happy with them. But this is a challenge isn't it and my biggest challenge was taking the photos not making the piece.

I had many of the ingredients for this necklace set aside for quite some time but it wasn't until I considered adding the bright orange Lucite and coconut shell beads that I finally had what I wanted. The Art Bead Scene Challenge piece for this month by Paul Gaugin gave me the inspiration to add that punch of bright color and that was it! I call it Flower Child!

Flower Child on Artfire
Beautiful Turquoise focal backed by a Vintaj Brass flower, one of my Bronze (BronzClay) Leaf Charms, Green and Yellow Turquoise, bright pinky orange Lucite beads, Fire Polished Glass, Coconut Shell Heishi all strung on a Brass Chain with Handmade Copper clasps and connectors.
