Experiment in Black Results

The other day I showed you some experiments I was working on, covering Polymer Clay pieces with black letting them dry and then sanding, HERE is what they looked like before.

and here is the first pair after sanding.

Don't love them don't hate them, I actually like them better the more I play with them.
So when I work on the others maybe I'll figure some things out along the way.
What do you think?

While I have you here I'll show you some other things I'm working on.
These were mean to be smaller versions of the Cocoons I've been working on but as I was working on them I thought they looked like little bullets so I think that might be what they become.
Above you see them in Tribal, Snakeskin and Sea Urchin, I also have similar ones where I've done them in the headpin version.
What do you think?

I'm fairly sure I'm going to use these but I have another pair in the pipeline.

Production Mode #2

Yesterday I shared all the Discs I made in lots of different textures HERE.
I had a special order for some 3 hole Drops so this time I figured drops were my shape of the day.

These drops are much more time consuming than the discs were so I didn't get as many made, I filled in with some simpler rounds I'll share later.

As I've mentioned a couple of times I'm doing the
 Whole Bead Show
May 3-5 at the Lynnwood Convention Center.

There's also still time to enter the
AJE Component of the Month Challenge
HERE
Today is the last day to enter for your chance to create and share with Francesca Watson's wonderful Enameled Components.

Anything you see on my blog is always available to purchase even if you don't see it listed, just let me know!

I Heart Macro, Big and Bold

These rather large Copper pieces are just about ready to go in to the kiln.

I don't often make really big pieces but thought maybe soembody out there prefers that sort of thing.

Most of them have some shape and dimension to them also,
some have large center holds, some have holes on either side and some at the top.

Check back in the next day or so to see them all fired and torched and ready for creating!

Somebody requested Peac Signs not long ago, I unfortunately can't find the convo.
