November AJE Component of the Month - Design Reveal

This beautiful Bronze Snowflake is by the talented Lesley Watt of The Gossiping Goddess.

I tried to give it a soft icy feeling by dangling 3 glass drops from the focal itself.
I also used a fun little Wingding from GeneaBeads in the same colors,
added a some stronger color with Czech Glass beads in matte teal and soft yellows with glass beads from CanyonEchoes and a tiny little snippet of pale yellow Sari Silk.

Check out what the others have made with this gorgeous Snowflake!

  4. Kristi, that turned out beautiful! I love those wing dings, but can't figure out how to use them with seed beading. Your placement of it is just perfect. That little touch of sari silk just completes this great design.

    1. Shirley, you can use the wing dings in a seed beaded design like Mary Hardings necklace here http://pinterest.com/pin/134122895124061150/ or you can put them in a "fringe" or "caterpillar" design as well ;)
