I Heart Macro Poppin Poppy!

I caught this huge Poppy bud right after it started popping, then another shot the next day.

These photos were taken with a 18-55mm lens and a 20mm or 36mm extension tube.




I lost track of this Poppy as it opened the rest of the way, but here is another one that I actually photograghed a week or so before. This one was just opening and you could see the inside which is so cool!



Below is a bonus shot, some kind of berry that grows around a stump in our yard.
Anybody know what it is?

  2. Stunning shots! The poppies look like crumpled tissue paper. I don't know what the berry is but it's a gorgeous shade of yellow!
