I Heart Macro Ammonite

Not too long ago I asked my FaceBook friends about a purchase, should I or should I not make this somewhat extravigant purchase. Well they said yes and I did and it arrived today and I'm SOOOOO Happy I did. It is awesome and it's the focus of today's Macro shot.  It's a Giant Ammonite Shell and it's so cool, I'm dying to get my Copper Clay out and start making stuff with it.

All Macro shots taken with a 15-55mm lense with a 30mm extension tube.

It has a piece broken off but even so it has an enormous amount of space for what I need. It seems to be everybodies favorite texture and now this opens up a whole new world of shapes and sizes I can mold with it! I couldn't resist trying to take a Macro of the inside of one of the caverns where it's broken. This piece is going to get photograghed alot, I love it!! It's so big I can use it as a photo prop too.

My husband is laughing at me because I'm so excited lol, and you know I don't care one bit!!!!
