I Heart Macro a Study of Poppies

Well mostly Poppies, I couldn't resist clicking some of the other beauties in my yard. Can you tell I'm enjoying my new extension tubes, these were all taken with my 15-55mm lense with the 20mm extension tube.

Gorgeous Petunia in one of my 8 baskets I have hanging around the house.

See the little tiny bug near the top?

Check out the other amazing close up photos!!

  6. I LOVE poppies, one of my favourite flowers ;o) but I have a really hard time getting them to grow in my garden! :o(

I am amazed how stunning flowers are taken up close, SOOO much detail {and vibrancy} about them.

  12. Beautiful shots -- isn't it amazing what details come out when you go macro? The second poppy shot is my favorite; the stamens (?) seem so heavy with pollen! Wonderful.
